A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has exceeded more than one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, eu news 2023 businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
